Bourbon Beef BBQ

An old family favorite recipe that is great for parties or family gatherings! Also just great for dinner!

Bourbon Beef BBQ

5 lbs boneless flat roast
2 bottles BBQ sauce with honey
2 cups brown sugar
2 6oz cans of low salt tomato sauce
3 cups bourbon
4 Tbsp lemon juice
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Penzey's Northwoods Seasoning

Bake at 250 for 6-8 hours until the meat falls apart. Shred beef with a fork. Add extra brown sugar and bourbon to taste.

Is best if made a day or 2 ahead. Can also be made ahead and frozen
