Rum/Bourbon Balls
Another recipe I grew up with. So good and no baking required so they do have a kick!
1 ½ cups toasted chopped nuts
1 ¼ cups finely crushed vanilla wafers
½ cup powdered sugar
2 Tbs Penzey’s cocoa powder
2 Tbs light corn syrup
¼ cup of rum or bourbon (I have found the vanilla bourbon is wonderful in it)
Mix dry ingredients then wet and mix till well blended. Roll into small balls. Coat with powdered sugar (that’s how Mom did) or finely chopped nuts or unsweetened cocoa powder or melted dark chocolate
